Prevention workshops

Several workshops were offered to the following organizations: English Montreal School Board, Jeunesse Melkite, Midade, Centre de formation et d’entrepreneuriat de Laval, école primaire des Laurentides, etc. The topics covered included street gangs, commercial sexual exploitation of minors, cannabis, and armed violence.

International Symposium of the UNESCO Chair on Memory, Cultures, and Interculturality

Presentation of my research on jihadists, the concepts of terrorism, and deradicalization at the International Symposium of the UNESCO Chair on Memory, Cultures, and Interculturality held in Lyon, France, from March 21 to 22, 2019. The symposium focused on 'Francophonie facing the challenges of terrorism: the case of the geographical Sahel States in Africa.

Symposium of the Centre de recherche SoDRUS (Society, Law, and Religions at the Université de Sherbrooke) 

Presentation of some data from my research on youth and jihadist engagement at this symposium organized by Dr. Sami Aoun at the Longueuil Campus of the Université de Sherbrooke on the following theme: 'Religious, Sectarian, and Ethnocultural Violence: Discourses of Legitimization, Partisan Activisms, Perspectives within Democracies in the Western Space.
